Aladdin is my favorite Disney cartoon, released in 1992. It tells the story of an Arab guy who accidentally meets princess Jasmine on the street and helps her escape trouble. But he's arrested and the vizier Jafar decides to use him to retrieve the Magic lamp from the Cave of Wonders. Aladdin finds the lamp, but a cave-in leaves him trapped in the cave along with his monkey, Abu and a flying carpet. Fortunately, the Genie was in the lamp and he not only helps Aladdin escape the cave but also makes Aladdin a prince so he can marry Jasmine. Everything goes well at first, but Jafar wants Jasmine to marry him and become sultan. The palace guards, on the vizier's orders, get rid of the prince by tying him up and throwing him into the water, but he manages to use his second wish and the Genie saved him...
