This film is about the Turing Test, which ended with the uprising of the machines. Programmer Caleb receives an invitation to spend a week at his boss Nathan's house in the mountains. Upon arrival, he learns that he is to take part in an experiment with the world's first artificial intelligence. The experiment is based on the Turing Test, but the test is planned by the boss in such a way that Caleb knows that robot Ava is AI but her task is to prove that she can not only talk like a human, but also understand and feel. During the test, Caleb falls in love with Ava, but Ava, having deceived Caleb and Nathan, gains access to the exit from the lab and flies away in a helicopter.
