Jun, legally addressed as Wen Junhui but universally recognized as Seventeen’s resident philosopher-dancer, was born in 1996, in the vibrant metropolis of Shenzhen, Guangdong, China—a place bustling with possibility and, presumably, excellent dumplings. As a child actor, he spent his early years navigating film sets and dramatic scripts before discovering that his true calling involved considerably more music and spinning on stage. Armed with ambition and a willingness to pack up his life, he moved to South Korea, where he not only mastered Korean but also the art of dazzling choreography and thoughtful songwriting. With the demeanor of someone who could probably out-think a Zen master while performing a flawless pirouette, Jun inspires kids to embrace every talent they have and never shy away from leaping (sometimes literally) into the unknown.
