Jurassic Park is an exciting book by Michael Crichton (1990) and an equally exciting film by Steven Spielberg (1993). It's the story of how one millionaire decided to create an island zoo - not with ordinary animals, but with dinosaurs. His company discovered fossilized mosquito resin, preserved tens of millions of years ago, containing dinosaur blood. Using genetic engineering, they were able to recreate living dinosaurs using their DNA. But when a team of scientists arrived to inspect the island, everything went wrong. The security systems failed and the dinosaurs escaped their enclosures. Only a few managed to escape the island alive.
