Who are Silvermist and Snow White?
Silvermist is one of the major fairies in the Disney Fairies franchise, a water fairy with a talent for making optimism seem like a competitive sport. Of East Asian origin, Silvermist is the kind of fairy who could find a silver lining even in a thundercloud—literally, since water is kind of her thing. Sweet, silly and brimming with sympathy, she acts as a diplomatic buffer between Tinker Bell and Iridessa, which sounds like a full-time job in itself. Whether soothing tempers or dispensing advice that’s at least 70% good (a respectable average in the fairy world), Silvermist is the friend you’d call when you’ve had a bad day, accidentally dropped your pixie dust and need someone to tell you it’s all going to be okay.
