Not Quite Narwhal is a sweet and kind children's picture-book written by Jessie Sima (and also a DreamWorks cartoon). The main character is Kelp - a small creature who grew up underwater among narwhals all his life and considered himself one of them. But Kelp had a peculiarity: he swam worse than others, wore glasses and in general did not quite look like a narwhal. One day, a strong current carries him to the surface and there he discovers that he is not a narwhal at all, but a unicorn. On land, he meets other unicorns and learns more about himself and his origins. But he misses his underwater family ... In the end, Kelp realizes that he can be both narwhal and unicorn and finds a way to combine both parts of his life.
