Oscar Piastri is a famous Australian F1 racing driver. He was born in 2001 and began his career not in Formula 1, but with radio-controlled cars – he was a champion in RC racing competitions when he was a child. Oscar attended Haileybury College and was good at maths and physics – which helps him understand how a racing car works. At the age of 15 Oscar was already participating in real karting competitions in Europe and quickly became one of the best. He achieved the incredible – won the championships three times in a row: Formula Renault, Formula 3 and Formula 2. Now Oscar drives for the McLaren team and is known as a very calm and intelligent driver – he rarely makes mistakes and quickly learns. Before races he likes to eat simple food and drink lots of water – no “magic” drinks, just discipline and training!
