Out of sixteen contestants, Sana was one of the fortunate nine to secure a spot in the group. Her official debut with TWICE came in October 2015 with the title track "Like Ooh-Ahh" from their debut album "The Story Begins." Sana continued to make her mark as an artist, becoming the first TWICE member to release a solo single in February 2021, covering "Sotsugyou," a 2020 single by the Japanese band Kobukuro.
