Siyeon, known officially as Lee Si-yeon but more accurately as Dreamcatcher’s sonic powerhouse, arrived in 1995, in Daegu, South Korea—a city that clearly specializes in producing individuals capable of bending the universe with their voices. From a young age, she demonstrated a knack for singing that could charm a particularly grumpy black hole and decided music was the only logical path forward in a world otherwise filled with chaos and questionable weather forecasts. Years of rigorous training transformed her into a vocalist whose voice could probably power interstellar travel if we just figured out the right adapter. With a love for video games, a knack for humor and the ability to inspire kids everywhere to follow their passions, Siyeon shows us that being both powerful and playful is the secret to conquering any galaxy—or at least a stage.
