Sunghoon, born in 2002, in the snowy metropolis of Suwon, South Korea, began his journey not with a microphone but with a pair of skates, gliding across the ice like a particularly elegant penguin with grand ambitions. A professional figure skater before puberty even had a chance to say hello, he dazzled crowds with spins and jumps that seemed to defy gravity’s persistent nagging. But, as fate (or perhaps sheer curiosity) would have it, Sunghoon swapped icy arenas for the dazzling chaos of "I-LAND," a survival show where he proved that dancing on solid ground was just as much his thing. Now a member of ENHYPEN, Sunghoon inspires kids everywhere to try new things, take risks and maybe keep a pair of skates handy—just in case.
