Supergirl is a superhero film - a spinoff (and sequel) of Superman. And yes, it also features Krypto the Superdog. The film's protagonist is Superman's cousin Kara Zol-El (first appearing in the 2023 film The Flash). She travels from planet to planet with Krypto, aimlessly. On one planet, she meets a girl with a sword (Ruthie) who offers a hefty bounty on the head of the interstellar pirate Cream. Cream has killed Ruthie's entire family and only Kara can help her, but her final agreement must wait until the same bandit nearly fatally poisons Krypto. The girls have three days to save the dog and get even with the villain.
