Suzume no Tojimari is an upcoming animated film that follows the story of Suzume Iwato, a 17-year-old high school girl who lives with her aunt in Kyushu. One night, Suzume has a vivid dream of searching for her mother in a ruined neighborhood during her childhood. Along the way, Suzume encounters various characters, including the young man searching for doors, a real cat that transforms from a statue, and others who become involved in the mysterious occurrences happening around the onsen. As she navigates through the challenges and mysteries, Suzume's courage and determination are put to the test as she unravels the secrets behind the door and the truth about her past.
