The Call of the Wild is a book by Jack London and film about the exciting story of a dog named Buck. Buck lived in a big house in sunny California, where everyone loved him. But at that time (at the end of the 19th century) gold was found in Alaska and many sled dogs were needed there to carry cargo and post through the snow. And the gardener who worked in the house where Buck lived secretly sold him to a dealer just to earn $100. Buck, who did not understand anything, was locked in a cage and taken by train and then by ship to the cold north. He was very angry, but he was forced to work and obey people. He worked honestly and even became the leader of his team of sled dogs. He had good and bad owners and sometimes it was very hard for him. But the last owner - John Thornton, who saved his life, became Buck's best friend (they are shown together in the coloring page). Unfortunately, John died and Buck was left alone and decided to live in the wild - with the wolves. It suited him, he felt free
