The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is an animated film based on old Nintendo video game Super Mario Galaxy. The brothers Mario and Luigi meet and befriend dinosaur Yoshi as they join Princess Peach and her mushroom-like head servant Toad on an adventure into outer space and across the galaxy. They meet Rosalina (princess from outer space that is the adoptive mother of the Lumas, a fictional species of star-like creatures and also watcher of the cosmos) and face off against King Bowser and his son, Bowser Jr. Bowser is the King of the Koopas, anthropomorphic turtles that inhabit the world of the Mushroom Kingdom. His ultimate goal is to kidnap Princess Peach and conquer the Mushroom Kingdom.
