Titanic is a super film by James Cameron (released in 1997). It tells the story of the sinking of the enormous ocean liner Titanic after hitting an iceberg, which actually happened in 1912. The liner was en route from Great Britain to America and sank just before reaching the American shores. In the film, poor artist Jack accidentally ends up on the Titanic and meets Rose, a rich girl who is being matched with a bad guy. A romance develops between them, but then the ship collides with an iceberg. An evacuation begins - people fight for places on lifeboats. Rose survives and Jack sacrifices himself for her - a story she later reminisces about many years later.
